News of the price in power charges will come as no surprise to anyone. For Hosting UK however, it has been a very difficult decision; we use an enormous amount of electricity to provide your services, and whilst we do hedge our power prices, we have not been immune to the global increase in power costs and these agreements end.
As many of you will have spotted from our recent email, unfortunately we have been forced to increase our prices on some of our hosting products. We have tried to solve a difficult equation; keep our prices keen, but also be a profitable business that continually invests in its teams and infrastructure. We have hopefully achieved this.
Over the years, we are one of the few UK hosting companies not to increase our costs, there is a large list of companies who have been ‘consolidated’ by big players who have increased their renewal costs, year upon year. Not us.
It’s not all doom and gloom at Hosting UK towers, we are all busy beavering away helping our wonderful customers (you guys and girls) to grow your businesses and make the most out of being online.
We have launched new products this year, including our new website builder – new Microsoft Exchange online packages, and a move to the new Microsoft 365 platform (NCE) – all taken care of with the minimum of fuss. We have also upgraded many of our systems including the servers that run our shared web hosting packages.
Alongside all of this, we are as committed as ever to helping you 24×7 on chat, telephone and tickets.
And to top it all – we even have brand new babies in the ranks! (Best news of all :)) Congratulations.
